A letter to my future self
11 February, 2026
I am writing this as a manifesto. A reminder, a soul document. You can see what your younger version was thinking and hoping.
My current principles:
- don’t be clever
- don’t expect
- don’t blame, don’t complain
- read, write, run
- you are an ordinary person
- will outweighs education
- nobody wins in this game
- there is nothing more manly than keeping your own word
- it is more about questions than answers
- everybody is weird in their own way
- it will make sense later
- memorization is not knowledge
- there is difference between intelligence and reason
- perfection is not interesting
- do it for yourself
- there are always several ways
- be just, be expressive, be honest
- always lead yourself
- things are not that difficult
- you can’t copy-paste success
The things that I want my future self have:
- responsibility
- acceptance of himself
- value
- meaningful works
- beautiful wife
- 2 kids
- villa in South of France
- the work that proves Walter Isaacson wrong
The real you is waiting here
